DJ La Croix

LaCroix is our Black Blagdon mare. She was an Appleby, England find. She was bred by the breeder George Harrison and exported to the U.S. by Clononeen Farms. LaCroix is the SWEETEST  mare.   When we went to visit Desert Jewel for the first time this mare followed our every step. My husband who really isn't that fond of horses even commented on how loving a horse she was. So when the opportunity came about to add her to our farm a year later all I had to do was say to hubby "She was the one that had her head on your shoulder the whole time." and she was in. Her conformation is just about perfect. She is built like a tank. She has a lovely thick rainbow arch neck. Small ears, sweet head, and those loving kind eyes. Her lucky mustache grows very long in the summer when  the grass is soft. Her tail and feather are very thick. And as you can see she she has a very long ventral mane. Gotta love these heavy horses and the ventral manes!
She is broke to ride under saddle.
